1) How do I find out if my loft can be converted?
A member of our team will visit your home to carry out a survey to establish whether a loft conversion would be viable on your property.
PLEASE NOTE: We do require a minimum of 2.2m at its highest point.

5) Will my loft conversion be subject to building regulations?
Yes – your loft conversion will need to be registered with Building Control and will require visits at intervals during the build to make sure it complies with the current regulations.

6) Will I need planning permission?
We design and build our Bath and Bristol loft conversions to meet building regulations. Within permitted development, some properties may need planning permission and once we have the information on your property we can check whether this will be needed.
If it does require planning permission we will liaise with the appropriate authorities on your behalf. We also arrange the building inspector visits at intervals to check the loft conversion is complying to current regulations.
On completion, building control will issue a final certificate which is your confirmation that your conversion meets the appropriate regulations.
PLEASE NOTE: Planning is only needed if in the following:
- Conservation area
- Area of outstanding beauty
- Permitted development rights have been removed
7) How much will my loft conversion cost?
Every loft conversion is a tailor-made project designed to suit each individual property. The addition of a basic loft conversion starts from £20,000.00 + VAT.

This will depend on the size and scale of your loft conversion, but typically, they take approximately 6-12 weeks.
